Bulgaria's President has confirmed his country's support for sanctions against Russia at meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko. Rosen Plevneliev said the solution to the conflict in east Ukraine between Ukrainian forces and Russian-backed militants lies in the Minsk peace deal, signed last Februrary with the help of France and Germany, but only partly implemented on the ground.
