 Fourteen people were injured in clashes between pro-Russian activists and the participants of a rally for the unity of Ukraine in Donetsk on April 28, the press service of Donetsk Regional State Administration reported quoting the regional health department. Some of those injured were hospitalized, others sought medical help on their own.

 The final number of the casualties will be available in an hour or two, press service said.

According to local media, a journalist of the Dzerkalo Tyzhnia Newspaper Yevhen Shybalov was hospitalized with a head injury.

As reported, pro-Russian activists attacked the participants of a rally for a united Ukraine in Donetsk on Monday with baseball bats.
