 The Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered 200 international official observers for the May 25 presidential elections in Ukraine, the CEC press service has reported.

The commission at a meeting on Friday registered eight official
observers from Japan, one from the OSCE Office for Democratic
Institutions and Human Rights, and 43 from the Ukrainian Congress
Committee of America.

Thus, the total number of registered international official observers
is 200, including 189 from four international organizations and 11 from
two foreign countries.

Extraordinary presidential elections in Ukraine are scheduled for May 25, 2014.
