The list of people waiting for returning to Ukraine from Nepal currently includes around 70 people, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“We have information that some of our citizens during the day independently returned to Ukraine. Those, who remain in Nepal, were settled in a camp in the territory of the residence of the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Kathmandu. Our citizens are provided with food, water and basic necessities. We have not received information about Ukrainian citizens killed or injured by the earthquake. Now the list of people to be returned to Ukraine includes about 70 citizens of Ukraine,” the Foreign Ministry press service told Interfax-Ukraine.

“Now Ukrainian diplomats are considering all possible options to evacuate Ukrainians from Nepal,” the authority said.

As reported, Ukraine’s Il-76 aircraft has not left Delhi for Kathmandu for the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens.

The Il-76 aircraft of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry arrived in Delhi for further departure to Kathmandu to evacuate our citizens and has been passing the elimination of detected faults. As of 7.00 p.m. of May 2, the list for evacuation by air included about 100 people.

According to the latest official data, 7,040 people were killed as a result of an earthquake in Nepal on April 25.
