CHUHUYEV - There will be no obstacles for holding local elections in Donetsk and Luhansk regions if only the Minsk accords are implemented, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said.

‘If today a common work of Ukraine and coalition, which backs Ukraine all over the world, forces Russia to adhere by the Minsk accords, the elections must be carried. If shell attacks continue, then security of people is on top for me,’ the president said at a briefing on the military field near Chuhuyev of Kharkiv region on Saturday.
