Fighting surged in eastern Ukraine in the last two weeks, as at least three Ukrainian soldiers have been killed and 14 wounded in the past 24 hours in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

The observers, based at the central railway station in Donetsk, recorded roughly
600 explosions caused by artillery or mortar fire over two days, in addition to

other of the attacks.
