"A notification has come from Sloviansk, where a body of a man, who looks like member of Horlivka Town Council Volodymyr Rybak, who was kidnapped in Horlivka by unknown masked men, was found... The investigation will now be launched, as the criminal proceedings were started previously under Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (the unlawful confinement or kidnapping)," Head of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's branch in Horlivka Andriy Kryschenko told the portal.

The body was hard to identify, and the man most likely was killed on April 19 by “professionals”, said deputy chief of Horlivka police department Herman Prystup, who worked with Rybak.

As reported, a member of Horlivka Town Council, Volodymyr Rybak, was kidnapped on April 17, by unidentified people. The person, who reported the incident, said Rybak and he were walking in the street when a car stopped by, unknown people went out of it, forced Rybak in the car and left.
