You're reading: Dnepr military program could be stopped soon

MOSCOW - The Dnepr Russian-Ukrainian program to use converted RS-20 heavy intercontinental ballistic missiles (Satan by Western classification) in space launch programs will most likely be stopped, a space industry source told Interfax-Ukraine.

"The Military-Industrial Commission will analyze the advisability of continuing the Dnepr program within the next month. The Russian Defense Ministry thinks that the further implementation of this program is becoming unprofitable and unsafe for the environment. Such a conclusion was included in a report compiled by the Defense Ministry," the source said.
