UEFA's official tour operator TUI Travel (Britain) has signed agreements with 55 hotels in Donetsk to book 2,070 rooms to accommodate the official guests of Euro 2012 European Football Championship, and 24 agreements with hotels under construction and reconstruction to book 1,890 rooms.
A statement posted on the Web site of the Ukraine 2012 Information Center notes that Donetsk is planning to cover demand on rooms thanks to hotel infrastructure in other regional centers and organize transfer services.
The report says that TUI Travel and Ilitash-Tour travel agency have signed agreements to book 12,010 rooms for football fans. Guests will be accommodated in health centers, dormitories, hotels that were not involved in accommodation of official UEFA guests, as well as in a camping site (around 6,000 pitches) located on the approaching road to Donetsk.
As reported, referring to UEFA Euro 2012 Director in Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivsky, the biggest problem connected with the preparations for the Euro 2012 in Donetsk is the accommodation of target groups.
