The European Union wants the Ukrainian gas transportation system to stay one of the main gas transit routes to Europe, European Commission Vice-President Siim Kallas said.
“The European Union continues working with the Ukrainian authorities
to ensure long-term diversification of the gas supply and to ensure that
the Ukrainian gas transportation system stays one of the main gas
transit routes to Europe,” Kallas said at a meeting on issues relating
to the decentralization of power in Ukraine.
