There are no Ukrainian citizens among those injured in the crash of a Tu-134 passenger plane in Kyrgyzstan, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.

"Our citizens were not injured in the crash of the Tu-134," Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov told Interfax-Ukraine, while referring to the relevant information of the Ukrainian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.

He noted that the embassy was continuing to monitor this situation.

Seven people were injured as a Tupolev Tu-134 passenger jet belonging to the Kyrgyzstan airline crash-landed at the Osh airport in southern Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday.

The plane carrying 73 passengers, including nine children, from Bishkek to Osh crashed onto the runway while landing.
