French Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Promotion of Tourism and French Nationals Abroad Matthias Fekl will lead a delegation of French businessmen which will arrive in Ukraine on July 7, the French Embassy in Ukraine reported on July 6. This visit is a part of the restoration of the dynamics of bilateral relations which started in April with the visit of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to France, followed by the visit of Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk to Paris," the embassy said.

During the visit, Fekl will meet with First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Hennadiy Zubko to discuss holding a meeting of the French-Ukrainian economic commission in 2016. He will also meet with Economic Development and Trade Minister Aivaras Abromavicius, Energy Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn, and Infrastructure Minister Andriy Pyvovarsky.

The delegation will discuss French proposals for the development of strategic sectors, which include transport, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, the embassy said.

Fekl will also meet with Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko to discuss projects carried out by France and French companies in the Ukrainian capital.

A meeting with Ukrainian MPs will also be held which will address structural reforms.

Fekl will also hold a meeting with representatives of the French business community in Ukraine.
