The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allowed checks on pig breeders in case of need, Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Oleksiy Pavlenko has reported.

“The Cabinet has made the decision, the protocol order. According to the law, it is allowed to carry out checks, but there should be given additional instructions that checks are possible,” the minister told journalists at a press conference.

According to him, sanitary service representatives have access to all kinds of enterprises from Aug. 3.

“There is the Cabinet decision that permits inspections, if necessary, on all the issues that arise with respect to pig farmers,” Pavlenko said.
