Over 85,000 adult and 50,000 child refugees have been put on the medical record, Deputy Health Minister, Chief of Staff Olena Tereschenko has said.

“As of today, 126,000 adults refugees asked for medical help, over 85,000 of them were put on the medical record. Over 80,000 children asked for medical help, over 50,000 of them were put on the [medical] record…,” she said at a briefing in Kyiv on March 31.

In addition, over 200,000 refugees out of 1.1 million underwent medical examination.

“And some good news, over 3,000 children were born among the displaced persons. All newly born [babies] and their mothers, even those without documents, received appropriate medical help,” Tereschenko added.
