You're reading: Hospitality area to be equipped near Donbas Arena for Euro 2012 in Donetsk

The proposed hospitality area next to the Donbas Arena stadium in Donetsk is to cover 16,000 square meters, reads a posting on the Web site of the Ukraine 2012 Information Center.

According to the center, the area will be located on the territory 300 meters around the stadium.

It is also reported that two months before the start of Euro 2012, lampposts will be demounted all over the area, and a special canopy will cover the lawn surface there.

During the tournament, the hospitality area, where UEFA is planning to install temporary constructions, will open three hours before the start of the match and three more hours after the match.

UEFA business guests, tournament sponsors and television and radio companies will have access to the area, which is to have an informal atmosphere.

As reported, Donbas Arena stadium is the first Ukrainian stadium that meets UEFA standards in the elite (five-star) category.
