The special monitoring mission of the OSCE (SMM) has highlighted problems with the movement of observers to the places to be monitored, including those with access to the Ukrainian-Russian border.
“Our observers still have problems with freedom of movement that precludes monitoring in certain places where it should be, including and especially on the border between Ukraine and the Russian Federation,” SMM Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug said at a briefing in Mariupol on Friday.
