A mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has arrived in Kyiv on May 12 and will complete its work soon, Deputy Spokesman for the IMF External Relations Department William Murray has said.

“The mission is on the ground in Kyiv. We expect it to report shortly, in days, not hours,” he said during a briefing at the IMF headquarters in Washington on May 28.

The mission will make a statement and published a press release on the results of its work, he added.

Meanwhile, Interfax-Ukraine has learnt that the Ukrainian Finance Ministry and the National Bank of Ukraine are expected to hold a press conference to sum up the results of their work on May 29.
