The Ukrainian Information Policy Ministry plans to present a multimedia platform for foreign broadcasting based on the UTR Channel, Ukrinform News Agency and the BTB channel in a month, Deputy Information Policy Minister Artem Bidenko has said.

“This will not be just a presentation of the international broadcasting TV channel, but a presentation of the Ukraine Tomorrow media platform, which will encompass several communication channels, and the aim of which is to tell the world the truth about Ukraine,” the deputy minister said in Kyiv on July 7.

He recalled that the Cabinet of Ministers signed on Monday two orders on the transfer of two property complexes of the state-run television and radio company Ukrainian Television and Radio World Service (UTR), and the state-run news agency Ukrinform, to the Information Policy Ministry.

According to established practice, it will take about a month for re-registration of legal entities. Thus, the Information Policy Ministry in a month will be able to officially come into the administration of the property complexes, Bidenko said.

He also said that the ministry intended to create a multimedia platform based on UTR, Ukrinform and combine them with the Bank television (BTB) channel, which was earlier placed under management of the ministry.
