Ukraine, Moldova and Romania have determined the route of the Black Sea circular highway.

According to a press release from Ukraine’s Ministry of Infrastructure, the decision on the highway route was signed at a tripartite meeting of Ukraine’s Infrastructure Minister Maksym Burbak, Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova Vasile Botnari and Transport Minister of Romania Cezar Radu Soare in Sofia (Bulgaria).

“The Black Sea circular highway will follow two routes: from Odesa to Bucharest via Reni-Giurgiulesti-Galati, and from Odesa to Bucharest through Chisinau-Ungheni,” reads the report.

The ministers agreed to promote the development of these directions by improving and attracting investment, both at the national level and involving international financial institutions.
