Nearly 12,000 law enforcers will maintain public order in Ukraine on New Year's night, the press service of the Interior Ministry reported, with reference to the head of mass and sporting events division of the ministry's public security department, Oleh Matveitsov.
According to him, more than 1,000 events, which will involve 700,000 people, are scheduled across Ukraine.
The New Year’s events in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Odesa regions
are expected to attract the largest numbers of people, the ministry
reported.
