The Justice Ministry of Ukraine has said that the electoral process in Ukraine on May 25 was democratic and free, and the Central Election Commission has every reason to recognize the election results and announce them in due time, Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko has said.

“The elections were held across the country, and the Justice Ministry
states that there were no violations that could affect the legitimacy
of the election results.

These elections were democratic, fair and
transparent, and according to international observers, law enforcement
agencies, human rights organizations, these are the first elections in
Ukraine that were held without the use of administrative resources.

The
government ensured the conduct of the elections at the legislative
level, as well as at the financial and security levels. We are confident
that the Central Election Commission has every reason to announce the
results within the statutory period,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv on
