The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has sent a note to Russia, asking it to share information on Moscow's practical steps toward the implementation of the April 17 Geneva accords.

“The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry forwarded an official note to the Russian side on April 21, presenting detailed information on the Ukrainian side’s steps toward the implementation of the Geneva agreements. In this note, we asked the Russian side to provide us with information on the Russian Federation’s practical steps as a participant in the Geneva negotiations on deescalating the situation in eastern regions of Ukraine,” Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said at a news conference.

“The Russian side has not yet given any answer, but Kyiv is witnessing Russia’s absolute boycott of the Geneva agreements and unwillingness to implement them,” he said.
