Militants have carried out 25 shell attacks on the Ukrainian military positions along the dividing line in eastern Ukraine throughout the day on June 30, with Mariupol being the epicenter of the attacks, the press center for the military operation said.

According to the evening summary of news posted on the press center’s Facebook page on Tuesday, this morning militants fired 122 millimeter howitzers against the village of Druzhba and BM-21 Grad rockets against the Ukrainian positions near Vrubivka and Zolote.

According to Kyiv, militants in Luhansk region fired 82-millimeter mortars against Novotoshkivske and Zhovte and grenades against Krymske. In Donetsk area, 120 millimeter mines fell near Novhorodske. Maryinka, Pisky and the Butivka coal mine were attacked with grenade launchers and large-caliber machineguns.

Mariupol was the epicenter of the Tuesday attacks, the press center said. Militants fired 82- and 120-millimeter mortars, various grenades and small-arms weapons against Shyrokyne, Mykolaivka, Petrovske and Bohdanivka.

Ukraine has responded by suppressing the militants firing positions, using the weapons not prohibited by the Minsk agreements, the press center said.
