No one was wounded or killed in the zone of the military operation in southeastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours and there were no provocations on the contact line, Andriy Lysenko, an official with the Ukrainian presidential administration on issues relating to the operation, said.

“There were no enemy provocations on the engagement line. No Ukrainian troops were wounded or killed in the clashes,” Lysenko told a briefing in Kyiv on Oct. 7.

He said the Ukrainian military had withdrawn tanks to the agreed distance in the Luhansk region over a short period of time. “Now it’s up to the international observers, who have to verify the full absence of Ukrainian tanks in the area near the frontline on a specific site,” Lysenko said.
