The center of Kyiv will be decorated with social scenes and symbols for the Euro 2012 European Football Championship after Nov. 15, the Ukraine 2012 Information Center has reported.

Head of the Main Department for Euro 2012 at Kyiv City State Administration Tetiana Slyshyk said that this would be done as part of preparations for the draw ceremony of the main Euro 2012 tournament, which will be held at Kyiv’s Ukraine Palace of Art on Dec. 2

"It’s very important for the Ukrainian capital to present the city with dignity and create a festive atmosphere ahead of Euro 2012. On November 15, within a month, the city will be decorated with social scenes and Euro 2012 symbols for the final draw. The general idea for preparing the city for the ceremony is ‘Kyiv welcomes you,’" she said.
