BERLIN - German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President of France Francois Hollande in phone talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed adherence to the implementation of the Minsk agreements, the German government reported on Aug. 29.
“The parties showed unity and confirmed that the Minsk agreements are the basis to improve the situation in Donbas,” reads the statement of the German government spread in Berlin.
