The press center of the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine claimed that militants had attacked the building of the Donetsk airport with tanks.
‘Over the past 24 hours the uncontrolled armed formations have used tanks in several attacks on the Donetsk airport. This strategic asset is under our control,’ the press center wrote on Facebook.
Besides, the militants also attacked the Ukrainian positions near Debaltseve and Trudove (Luhansk region), the press center said.
The situation in Mariupol is also controlled by the Ukrainian army, the statement said.
