MOSCOW - Naftogaz Ukrainy has sent Gazprom a request for supply of 2 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas in October, with deliveries to begin on October 12 given that advance payment is received on Friday, Gazprom said in a statement.
“Agreement has just been achieved with Naftogaz Ukrainy that advance payment for gas supplies in October will be made today. Once the money is received, Gazprom will begin supplying gas to Ukraine from 10 a.m. on Oct. 12. The Ukrainian side has asked us for 2 billion cubic meters of gas in October,” the statement says.
