Naftogaz Ukraine is going to suspend gas purchases from Russia's OAO Gazprom as the terms of Russian gas shipments to Ukraine haven't been agreed during the recent trilateral gas talks in Vienna, Austria, according to Naftogaz's public relations office.

“In connection with the fact that an additional agreement between NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy and OAO Gazprom is expiring on June 30, 2015, and conditions for the further supply of Russian gas to Ukraine haven’t been agreed during trilateral talks in Vienna today, Naftogaz will stop buying gas from the Russian company. Transit shipments via Ukraine to Gazprom’s European clients will continue in full and on contractual terms,” Naftogaz said.
