Ukraine is creating a new authority, the National Police, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has said.
“Pursuant to the Law on Police, the government decides today to create a central executive authority which shall be subordinated to the Interior Ministry. The National Police will be formally established in Ukraine today,” Yatsenyuk said at a government meeting on Sept. 2.
