You're reading: NATO calls North Atlantic Council meeting to discuss peace plan for Ukraine

 NATO is convening a session of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) to discuss proposals on boosting the defense capabilities for European allies.

 The meeting will be held on April 16 and focus on the proposals by the Commander of the NATO Armed Forces in Europe, Phillip Breedlove, a NATO spokesperson told Interfax in Brussels on April 15.

Given the situation in Ukraine, the NAC will present a comprehensive plan on peace enforcement in the very near future, Breedlove said earlier.
