Director of NATO Liaison Office Marcin Koziel praises the progress in the dialog between the Ukrainian Defense Ministry and foreign advisors.

The Defense Ministry posted a report on its website that cites Koziel during his meeting with Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak.

“Koziel has praised the progress in the dialog between the Defense Ministry’s experts and foreign advisors and expressed the hope that the further cooperation of foreign advisors, who are working with the Defense Ministry would be fruitful. He thanked the defense minister for his decisions on reforms and his intent to cooperate closely with foreign advisors and NATO as a whole,” reads the report.

At the same time, the NATO official said that they realized under what conditions the reforms in the Ukrainian army were conducted.

Previously Poltorak held the talks with NATO Assistant Secretary General Thrasyvoulos Terry Stamatopoulos. They discussed practical issues of work of the group of advisors at the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
