You're reading: NBU will sell government bonds at negative yield curve

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) intends to sell government domestic loan bonds in its portfolio with a reduced price for "longer" securities.

According to the NBU website, the decision on bond sales was made by the NBU board.

On June 7, the central bank will offer government bonds with the following yields: 22 percent per annum for six-month equities, 20 percent per annum for 12-month securities, 17 percent – for three-year, 15 percent – for five-year, and 12 percent – for ten-year bonds.
