The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) confirmed shelling of the village of Novotoshkivske (53 km north-west of Luhansk) with Grad launchers from 'Luhansk People's Republic'-controlled area.

According to the mission’s report released on March 30, the SMM visited the government-controlled checkpoint, where Grad shelling had allegedly occurred in the night of March 27.

The representatives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the Joint Center for Control and Co-coordination in Starobilsk were also present at the scene together with the OSCE mission.

“The SMM observed at least 20 craters in a field, which appeared to have been caused by Grad missiles. The craters, which suggested that the fire came from a south-easterly direction, were fresh,” says the report.

As the anti-terrorist operation press service said earlier, in late hours of March 27, the militants violated ceasefire eight times.

From 9.30 to 9.40 p.m. on March 27, the militants shelled Novotoshkivske in Luhansk region with Grads from Stakhanov-direction. The militants shelled the government-controlled checkpoint with 40 missiles, with 20 another missiles hitting residential district in Novotoshkivske.
