“I’m not planning to become a premier. These all are speculations and political intrigues,” Saakashvili said in an interview with the Focus daily on Sept. 4.

Saakashvili said also that he felt no “piousness” toward Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

“I’ve known him for a long time, I have warm feelings toward him, I respect and admire him, but this doesn’t keep me from openly telling him unflattering things. I have absolutely no inhibitions in this respect,” Saakashvili said.

It was reported earlier that en electronic petition demanding that Saakashvili be appointed prime minister of Ukraine had been registered on the Ukrainian president’s official website.
