DONETSK - The deputy head of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Special Monitoring Mission (OSCE SMM) in Ukraine, Alexander Hug, has not ruled out that a decision could be made in Minsk on demilitarization of other Donbas hotspots once it is over in the village of Shyrokyne.

Hug said he will be in Minsk on July 7 and new proposals could be made and approved on where demilitarization can be carried out after Shyrokyne.

At the same time, the situation in Shyrokyne is far from being resolved, he said.

We must see it through so that peaceful residents can return, he told Interfax, when asked about a possibility of other populated areas being demilitarized.

He added there was no specific plan for further demilitarization of the hotspots.
