OSCE unable to verify arms pullback in Ukraine so far

Moscow - The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (OSCE SMM) has been unable to verify the pullback of heavy armaments by the conflicting sides in eastern Ukraine.

The mission said in a report posted on March 3 that it had been following and observing the pullback of heavy armaments but was still unable to verify the withdrawal processes.

The mission needs baseline information about the current location of the weapons, their withdrawal routes and the areas where the heavy armaments will be amassed and stored in order to confirm the arms pullout.
