Over 100,000 Ukrainians have received notices as the country sees another wave of mobilization, the presidential administration said.

“By now, more than 100,000 people have been notified, over 58,000 have undergone a medical examination,” Oleskiy Pokotylo, deputy head of the main department for national security and defense in the presidential administration, said at a briefing in Kyiv on Feb. 6.

About 16,000 servicemen have already been sent to training centers, he said

Over 3,000 volunteers for service came to recruitment offices, most of them failed to meet the required health criteria, the official said. “Normally, such volunteers who fail medical checks will be posted to self-defense units in appropriate regions and districts,” Pokotylo added.

The fourth wave of Ukrainian mobilization began on Jan. 20 and will last 90 days.
