Kyiv, September 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Henryk Litwin has said that the prospects for introducing a visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU depend solely on the concrete actions of the Ukrainian side regarding the implementation of agreements they reach.

"There’s no sense in thinking about what political support will be provided to introduce the visa-free regime, because it is a practical issue. From the moment we agreed on an action plan regarding the liberalization of the visa regime, the problem was actually politically solved," he told reporters in Kyiv on Friday.

Litwin said that now all depends on the concrete work of the Ukrainian side linked to the liberalization of the visa regime with the EU.

"If this work is done, then we will go forward. As far as I know, this process is now moving forward," he said.

Litwin said that the issue of the introduction of a visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU was currently not one for political speculation.
