There are no grounds to revise the forecast of macroeconomic indicators for 2012, Ukraine's Economic Development and Trade Minister Petro Poroshenko has said while commenting on the government's initiatives to increase the 2012 budget by 10%.

"In our view, there is no need to adjust this year’s inflation target and it will remain within the bounds approved by the national budget," he told journalists in Kyiv on April 10.

As reported, the government proposed to the Verkhovna Rada to increase the incomes and expenditures of the national budget for 2012 by Hr 33.35 billion, to Hr 366.17 billion and Hr 391.36 billion respectively, without changing the limit of the deficit.

The Ukrainian government forecast 3.9% GDP growth while drafting the 2012 budget. The government says that inflation in 2012 will be 7.9%.
