You're reading: Poroshenko appoints new ambassadors to India, Thailand

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has appointed Ihor Polikha to the post of the Ukrainian ambassador to India, Andriy Beshta as Ukraine's ambassador to Thailand, and Ukraine's Ambassador to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly will have concurrent accreditation as the ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda.

At the same time, Poroshenko dismissed Oleksandr Shevchenko from the post of Ukraine’s Ambassador to India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, the Maldives, and Bangladesh.Meanwhile, Pavlo Sultansky was dismissed as Ukraine’s ambassador to Singapore and Brunei.

Relevant decrees were posted on the Ukrainian president’s website on Nov. 24.
