Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed into law a bill lifting a moratorium on the forced sale of assets of companies in which the state holds at least 25 percent to clear these companies' gas debts to the national energy company Naftogaz Ukrainy and its subsidiaries, the presidential office reports.

“The president has just signed into law a bill on amending the law on imposing a moratorium on the forced sale of assets,” presidential representative at the Cabinet of Ministers Oleksandr Danyl i uk said at a news briefing in Kyiv on July 24.
