Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expects a positive decision by the European Parliament and European Commission (EC) on the visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens.
“Ukrainian Head of State expressed hope for a positive evaluation of the EU mission on the implementation of the Plan on liberalization of the visa-free regime for Ukrainians. Then, in case of a positive assessment, it will be very important and symbolic for the EU-Ukraine solidarity, so that the European Parliament and the European Commission could make a positive decision on the visa-free regime,” the press service of the President reported on his meeting with MEPs during their working visit to Kyiv.
Poroshenko also noted that Ukraine hoped for the end of the ratification process of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement by the end of 2015.
