Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said that Crimea has been, is and will be a Ukrainian territory.

“Russia has occupied Crimea, which has been and will remain to be
Ukrainian. I firmly stated this to the Russian leadership yesterday, at
the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Normandy [landings]:
Crimea has been and will remain to be Ukrainian. Period,” Poroshenko
said in his inaugural speech at the Verkhovna Rada on Saturday.

“There can’t be any compromise with anyone regarding Crimea, the European choice, and the governance system,” Poroshenko said.
