Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said that the shutdown of the Crimean Tatar TV channel ATR won't stop the aspiration of the Crimean Tatar People for freedom and truth.

“One can shut down a TV channel, but can’t stop the aspiration of the Crimean Tatar People for the freedom and truth,” Poroshenko wrote on Twitter.

As reported, the only Crimean Tatar TV channel in the world stopped broadcasting in Crimea on April 1, as the Russian Federal Service for the Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media had refused to register it.
