Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed a law on holding the first elections in united communities on Oct. 25, 2015, which the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has passed today, the president's press service reported.

“The president signed law No. 676-VIII on amending certain laws of Ukraine concerning the organization of the first elections of members of local councils, elections of village and town heads,” the statement reads.
