Poroshenko to address nation over events outside parliament in Kyiv

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will deliver a special televised address to speak about the events in the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament, and the subsequent riot in Kyiv on Aug. 31.

“The president will make a TV address to the nation today over the situation in and outside the Verkhovna Rada,” Poroshenko’s press secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko wrote on his Facebook page on Aug. 31.
