Pro-Russian activists said they will put up a tent city in front of the building of the Kharkiv region's administration in Kharkiv.

“There will be a tent city near the region’s administration building.
The people of Kharkiv will stand here until the lawful administration
returns, until constitutional order is brought,” an activist said,
adding that by the legitimate administration he and his colleagues mean
Viktor Yanukovych.

“People have different opinions about his work. However, he is the
legitimate president. For this reason, let him come back and bring
order,” the activist said.

Activists are now putting up metal bars in front of the Kharkiv
region’s administration building, an Interfax correspondent has
reported. Interior troops and some police officers have now left the
site in front of the building. The activists applauded them, chanting
“Police are with the people!”

According to earlier reports, pro-Russian activists took over the
building of the Kharkiv region’s administration on Sunday evening. It
took them ten minutes to enter the building. Less than thirty minutes
after entering the building, they removed the Ukrainian flag from the
building, replacing it with a Russian tricolor. The police and interior
troops who guarded then entrance to the building did not put up any
significant resistance.
