MOSCOW - The Russian Investigative Committee has completed the probe of the criminal case against Ukrainian servicewoman Nadia Savchenko, accused of conspiracy to murder Russian reporters in southeastern Ukraine, Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin told Interfax on July 6.

“The criminal case regarding Savchenko has been sent [to the prosecutor’s office] for indictment approval and further transfer to the court to be tried on merit,” Markin said.

Savchenko is accused of killing two or more persons, attempted murder in a dangerous manner and illegal crossing of the Russian border, the spokesman said.
