The official delegation of Ukrainian prosecutors led by Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka is currently visiting Germany at the invitation of the Attorney General's Office and the Federal Ministry of Justice of Germany.

Part of the delegation is currently staying in Bonn to exchange
experience in the introduction of the central registry of investigations
and criminal penalties, the Ukrainian PGO’s press service reported on
Wednesday. The rest of the delegates are visiting Karlsruhe, where the
Federal Court of Justice of Germany is situated, as well as the Office
of the Federal Attorney General.

Ukrainian delegates took part in a working meeting with the leadership of the Attorney General’s Office of Germany.

“During the meeting, the parties talked about the introduction of the
new criminal procedure laws in Ukraine, discussed the specifics of law
enforcement agencies’ work under a single database of criminal offenses,
which was introduced in Ukraine (the single register of pre-trial
investigations) with the entry into force of the new Criminal Procedure
Code,” the report reads.

The parties also spoke about the law enforcement agencies’ activities
in combating the organized crime and terrorism both in Ukraine and in
Germany.
